Systems Engineer

About the role

The Systems Engineer will ensure the stability, performance and day‑to‑day operation of business applications supporting Procurement, Property Services and internal audit functions. The role focuses on incident resolution, system monitoring and continuous improvement while providing exposure to enterprise tools and delivery practices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for business applications within the Commercial squad.
• Monitor system performance, daily jobs, BAU requests and alerts to maintain application stability.
• Investigate and resolve incidents promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Manage incidents, service requests and change activities using ServiceNow and GoJira.
• Support root‑cause analysis for recurring issues and assist in implementing fixes.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on complex troubleshooting.
• Assist with application deployments, release activities and post‑release validation.
• Work closely with service owners, engineers, tech leads, business users, vendors and cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks and knowledge articles in Confluence.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of Power Apps/Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Dataverse and application troubleshooting.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, SharePoint and procurement systems.
• Experience with SaaS cloud‑based platforms and applications.
• Understanding of service‑management processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and monitoring or job‑scheduling tools (desirable).
• Ability to work in Agile teams.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation or Azure Fundamentals are advantageous.
