Systems Engineer (IT Infrastructure)

About the role

We are looking for a permanent Systems Engineer to join a well‑established South Island company. You will support a diverse customer base, combining hands‑on technical support, project delivery, and advisory work to help clients maintain, improve, and evolve their IT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive support and maintenance across client IT environments.
• Deliver high‑quality ICT support for infrastructure, systems, and end‑user devices.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of IT projects for multiple customers.
• Review and recommend improvements to technology environments.
• Assist in developing technology roadmaps aligned with business outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or in IT service delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to the design and delivery of IT projects.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with stakeholders.
• Professional, personable, and customer‑focused approach.
• Full driver’s licence.
