About the role

Switched-On Group is seeking a skilled Suspended Ceiling Installer to join its construction team in Christchurch Central. You will work on a variety of commercial projects across Christchurch and the southern region, contributing to high‑quality built environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install suspended ceiling systems in commercial buildings according to project specifications.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings, layouts, and installation guidelines.
• Coordinate with tradespeople, site managers, and suppliers to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance before handover.

Required profile

• Proven experience in suspended ceiling installation within commercial settings.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights safely.
