Supporter Care Coordinator

About the role

The Supporter Care Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for our valued supporters, helping to nurture and grow their relationship with Blind Low Vision NZ. This role blends relationship‑building with administrative excellence to ensure supporters feel valued and engaged.

Key responsibilities

• Connect with supporters using a person‑focused mindset to understand their needs and motivations.
• Provide timely, accurate administrative support for supporter enquiries, donations and events.
• Maintain and update supporter records in the organisation’s database.
• Collaborate with fundraising and communications teams to create cohesive supporter experiences.
• Identify opportunities to deepen supporter engagement and encourage ongoing contributions.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for community service.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to delivering high‑quality service.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email).
• Effective written and verbal communication.
