Supply Chain Operations Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Operations Manager will lead Viatris' distribution centre and third‑party logistics operations in Auckland, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient storage and distribution of medicines across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead warehousing and distribution activities across internal and third‑party providers, meeting service excellence, inventory accuracy and KPI targets.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives in logistics, freight, forecasting, demand planning and re‑work to enhance customer service and reduce costs.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, quality, safety and occupational health standards, including audit readiness and controlled‑drug management.
• Manage and develop the team through workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management, ensuring all certifications are current.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support budgeting, key customer relationships, emergency supply needs and broader ANZ supply‑chain objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably with GMP knowledge.
• Warehouse leadership experience of at least 3 years.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand (citizen or appropriate visa).
• Valid forklift licence.
