About the role

Join a national public‑sector organisation that is redefining large‑scale procurement in Aotearoa. As a Supplier Performance Manager you will own the contract management lifecycle for a significant spend portfolio, ensuring suppliers deliver the expected value, quality and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end contract management process for a large portfolio of suppliers.
• Collaborate with Category Managers to develop Joint Business Plans and monitor supplier performance.
• Analyse performance data and provide insights that drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure commercial partnerships align with strategic goals and deliver maximum value.
• Maintain the integrity and performance of supplier relationships across the organisation.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail.
• Extensive experience in contract management and supplier performance.
• Ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and several years of commercial experience focused on contracts and supplier performance.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration and service excellence.
