Structural Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Structural Technician to join a well‑respected team in Christchurch. The role provides the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial projects, collaborating closely with structural engineers and fellow technicians to deliver both regional and national outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Produce structural drafting documentation for building projects across multiple sectors.
• Utilise Revit to create and maintain accurate structural models and drawings.
• Collaborate with structural engineers and other technicians to ensure design intent is met.
• Support project delivery from concept through to construction documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of New Zealand‑based project experience in structural drafting.
• Proficiency in Revit for structural documentation and modelling.
• Current residence in New Zealand with full working rights.
• Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
