About the role
Join the Forte Health team as a Stores and Distribution Assistant, responsible for moving essential supplies between the Port Hills storehouse and the hospital. This part‑time, fixed‑term role ensures that critical items reach the right place at the right time, supporting smooth hospital operations.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a company van between the Port Hills storehouse and Forte Health Hospital.
- Load and unload stock and supplies weighing up to 20 kg.
- Deliver goods safely and promptly throughout the hospital.
- Track delivery paperwork and stock movements.
- Ensure urgent deliveries reach the correct location on time.
- Provide excellent customer service to hospital teams.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to handle items up to 20 kg.
- Organised with strong time‑management skills.
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
- Friendly, approachable and customer‑focused.
- Understanding of the urgency of hospital deliveries.
- Proactive, intuitive and able to anticipate issues.
- Comfortable working at a fast pace.
