Store Person / Reach Driver (Auckland)

About the role

Big Chill Distribution is seeking a full‑time Store Person/Reach Driver to join its Auckland team. You will be responsible for handling, organising and delivering FMCG products while operating reach trucks and other material handling equipment in a fast‑paced, temperature‑controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store and organise FMCG goods, including cartons and pallets.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock integrity.
• Operate reach trucks and other handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and execute timely deliveries to customers, adhering to route and schedule requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the transport and logistics team to support seamless operations.
• Work on‑site in a freezer/chiller environment, following health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience working in freezer or chiller environments is preferred.
• Highly organised with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
• Valid reach truck licence; previous similar role experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating reach trucks (minimum 18 months experience).
• Competence with other material handling equipment.
• Valid reach truck licence.
