Specification Consultant / Manager – Auckland

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Specification Consultant / Manager to become the trusted point‑of‑contact for architects, interior designers and kitchen designers across Auckland. You will champion our product range, build lasting relationships and ensure our solutions are specified on a variety of design projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with specifiers, becoming their first call for product advice, samples and support.
• Identify upcoming projects using industry tools and personal networks, feeding opportunities to sales, specification and supply‑chain teams.
• Track specifications through the project lifecycle, keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring product continuity.
• Represent the brands at trade shows, networking events and specifier education sessions.
• Source and maintain high‑quality imagery, case studies and sample libraries for client use.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the interiors, architecture or construction sector with a sales or specification focus.
• Strong network of contacts within the architectural, design and interiors community.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and able to manage time and priorities independently.
• Sense of humour and willingness to roll up sleeves to help the team succeed.
