Solutions Architect – Data, AI & Cloud

About the role

We are seeking a Solutions Architect who will design and lead end‑to‑end data, analytics and AI platforms for our clients in Auckland. The role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technical delivery, turning complex challenges into scalable, secure solutions across Azure, AWS, Snowflake and Kubernetes environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure architectures for cloud and hybrid environments.
• Translate business requirements into data, AI and platform solutions.
• Lead solution design across Azure, AWS, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) and on‑prem ecosystems.
• Embed security, governance and resilience by design.
• Architect modern data platforms and AI solutions using Snowflake and cloud‑native stacks.
• Drive DevSecOps, DataOps and automation‑first delivery models.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery and stakeholder teams to ensure commercially viable outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.

Required profile

• 8+ years delivering end‑to‑end cloud, data or platform solutions.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with both AWS and Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) and containerised architectures.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Bicep.
• Proven track record designing data and AI platforms.
• Deep understanding of security, IAM and governance frameworks.
