Solution Architect / Technical Consultant (Contract)

About the role

ClearPoint is seeking a Solution Architect / Technical Consultant to design target‑state architectures and advise on buy, build, refactor or retain options for new engagements. The role can be performed from anywhere in New Zealand and offers flexibility between full‑time and part‑time arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑own engagement deliverables with the Principal Consultant and Business Analyst.
• Develop conceptual target‑state architectures and business case foundations.
• Lead integration and data‑assessment workstreams, documenting current state and migration considerations.
• Provide technical advisory on platform fit while maintaining clear project boundaries.
• Estimate implementation effort, timelines and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Strong experience within the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform).
• Background in integration architecture and data migration across multi‑system environments.
• Ability to deliver clear technical advice and separate advisory activities from client‑owned work.
