Solution Architect – Low‑Code & Cloud Expertise

About the role

We are looking for a Solution Architect who will shape and deliver end‑to‑end digital solutions that have a tangible impact across New Zealand. The role combines deep technical design expertise with leadership of agile delivery teams, focusing on low‑code platforms, cloud services and modern development stacks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive solution architectures from concept through implementation.
• Provide architectural leadership across initiatives and product teams operating in an agile environment.
• Lead design‑assurance and governance activities to ensure compliance with security, privacy and regulatory standards.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to delivery teams and external partners.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect delivering custom‑built solutions.
• Broad experience across applications, integration, cloud, data, infrastructure and security in complex environments.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary agile teams and external delivery partners.
• Experience in highly regulated sectors, preferably within the New Zealand public sector.

Required skills

• Low‑code/no‑code platforms: Appian, Microsoft Power Platform.
• Programming languages and frameworks: Java, React.NET.
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and AI‑enhanced delivery practices.
