Solicitor / Senior Solicitor – Resource Management & Environmental Law

About the role

We are looking for a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor to join our market‑leading Resource Management, Environment & Infrastructure (RMA) team in Auckland. You will work alongside experienced partners and practitioners on high‑profile development, infrastructure and environmental matters, gaining exposure to litigation, project and advisory work for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on resource management, environmental and public law matters.
• Represent clients in complex environmental disputes and high‑value litigation.
• Support large‑scale infrastructure and development projects through statutory planning and fast‑track consenting processes.
• Draft and review contracts, submissions, and regulatory documentation.
• Liaise with corporate clients, government agencies and community groups to deliver practical solutions.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of post‑qualification legal experience.
• Strong interest and demonstrated experience in resource management, environmental or public law.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
