Social Media Manager (Reddit) – Remote

About the role

This fully remote freelance position focuses on managing and moderating a dynamic Reddit community within the tech sector. You will be the primary point of contact for members, fostering positive engagement and ensuring a welcoming, informative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily moderation of the Reddit community, reviewing posts and comments for adherence to guidelines.
• Initiate and participate in discussions to encourage member engagement.
• Respond to member inquiries and resolve conflicts in a timely, professional manner.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow and sustain community activity.
• Monitor trends and feedback to inform content and engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align community initiatives with broader objectives.
• Prepare regular reports on community health and engagement metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing or moderating online communities, preferably on Reddit.
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and discretion.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
