Showroom Sales Consultant

About the role

Trendz is looking for a motivated Showroom Sales Consultant to join its Mt Eden showroom. You will work directly with homeowners, architects, interior designers, builders and trade customers, providing expert advice on premium fireplace solutions and guiding them from enquiry to purchase.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and product advice in a luxury retail environment.
• Manage showroom enquiries, follow‑up with customers and prepare quotations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, architects, designers and trade partners.
• Conduct showroom consultations, customer meetings and site visits as required.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and support the wider sales team.
• Proactively increase showroom traffic and generate new sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in luxury retail, building products, landscaping or a related field.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Customer‑focused, organised and self‑motivated.
• Professional presentation with attention to detail.
• Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel when needed.
