Service Technician – EV Specialist (Christchurch)

About the role

Harmony Auto is launching the Denza brand in New Zealand and needs a skilled Service Technician to support its fast‑growing EV service centre in Christchurch. You will work hands‑on with both conventional and electric vehicles, ensuring high‑quality maintenance and repairs while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles following manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and conduct road‑tests.
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Stay current with the latest EV service procedures and technologies (training provided).
• Collaborate with service advisors and workshop staff to deliver timely service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workshop environment.

Required profile

• Fully qualified automotive mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail, proactive attitude, and good communication skills.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and eligibility to work in New Zealand.
