Service Dispatcher – Scheduling & Operations

About the role

Kalmar Global is seeking a Service Dispatcher to lead daily scheduling and coordinate field technicians at its Manukau site. The role ensures smooth site operations, optimises resource allocation and supports a strong safety culture within a global manufacturing and logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the daily work schedule for service technicians using SAP.
• Monitor progress of jobs, adjust assignments in real time, and resolve any conflicts.
• Communicate with customers, internal teams and suppliers to confirm service windows and priorities.
• Track key performance indicators such as response time, utilisation and safety compliance.
• Prepare and distribute shift reports and operational dashboards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in dispatching, production planning or similar coordination roles.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• SAP (dispatch or production module)
