About the role
As a Service Desk Analyst at Datacom you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing proactive problem solving and escalation when required. This after‑hours role offers a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities
- Handle telephone calls, emails and alert monitoring as the initial support channel.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests following ITIL processes.
- Escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide support during weekends and public holidays as part of the after‑hours schedule.
Required profile
- Motivated self‑starter with a passion for technology.
- Strong interpersonal and customer‑centric attitude.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
- Full New Zealand working rights.
Required skills
- Understanding of ITIL incident and request management.
