Service Desk Analyst – IT Support

About the role

Powerco is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join its Service Experience team in New Plymouth. You will be the first point of contact for colleagues needing IT assistance, ensuring they receive a positive and productive experience while their technology issues are resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective IT technical support to Powerco staff.
• Communicate, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Capture and document knowledge to accelerate future issue resolution.
• Equip new and existing employees with the tools they need from day one onward.
• Identify and recommend improvements to team processes, practices, and systems.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver an outstanding experience to internal customers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and escalate issues appropriately.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
