Service Consultant (Casual)

About the role

As a Casual Service Consultant for ANZ, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting branches across the Christchurch region. You will provide friendly, efficient assistance with everyday banking needs and ensure a positive experience from the moment they walk in.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality face‑to‑face customer interactions in line with ANZ service standards.
• Process a range of banking transactions quickly and accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
• Identify customer needs, offer appropriate solutions and refer clients to specialist teams when required.
• Manage cash holdings, arrange cash deliveries and ensure compliance with branch cash‑management policies.
• Maintain adherence to ANZ and branch policies, including regulatory and security requirements.
• Support multiple branch locations on short notice, including weekends, using your own transport.

Required profile

• Strong passion for delivering excellent customer service and building rapport quickly.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain banking information in simple terms.
• Reliability, flexibility and willingness to work on‑call across various locations and shifts.
• Basic numeracy and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
