Senior Winning Work Consultant

About the role

The Senior Winning Work Consultant joins Aurecon’s Winning Work New Zealand team to shape and pursue major infrastructure opportunities across Aotearoa. Working closely with industry and client leaders, you will drive bid strategy, manage programmes and deliver compelling client‑focused submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop winning bid strategies in partnership with industry directors and client leaders.
• Manage end‑to‑end bid programmes, ensuring timelines, reviews and SME inputs are coordinated.
• Partner with technical SMEs to produce high‑quality, bespoke bid content.
• Provide commercial insight, translate strategy into persuasive documentation, and support client presentations.
• Facilitate debriefs, analyse performance data and identify trends to improve future success rates.

Required profile

• At least three years of bid‑related experience, preferably within New Zealand.
• Positive, collaborative attitude with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Proven ability to lead and capture inputs from diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working on opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.
