Senior Winery Accountant

About the role

The Senior Winery Accountant will own end‑to‑end finance for Bimbadgen Estate’s diverse hospitality venues. Working closely with the General Manager, Head Winemaker and leadership teams, you will drive performance, cost control and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Manage inventory accounting and vintage costing for bulk wine and finished goods.
• Oversee month‑end close, reconciliations and compliance.
• Partner with operations on pricing, margins and performance insights.
• Manage cash flow and working capital (AP/AR).
• Supervise a team of three accounting support staff.
• Drive process improvements and business partnering across departments.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Background in wine, hotel or hospitality preferred.
• Understanding of liquor wholesale and export is advantageous.
• Strong Excel and systems skills.
• Commercial mindset, detail‑oriented and hands‑on.
• Curiosity to learn operational business processes.
