Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor

About the role

Summerset is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to lead recruitment for construction white‑collar and corporate Head Office positions. Based in Auckland (with flexibility for Wellington), you will partner with senior leaders to attract top talent and support operational village hiring in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for construction white‑collar and corporate roles.
• Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand current and future workforce needs.
• Develop sourcing strategies for specialist, hard‑to‑fill and passive candidate markets.
• Provide recruitment support for operational village roles in Australia when required.
• Use recruitment data, market insights and best practices to influence hiring decisions.
• Coach hiring managers on interview, selection and inclusive hiring practices.

Required profile

• Proven substantial construction recruitment experience, specifically white‑collar roles.
• Confidence recruiting across corporate or professional services functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Proactive sourcing mindset with experience engaging passive candidates.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep hiring activity on track.
• People‑first approach and commitment to a great candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Experience with SmartRecruiters is helpful but not essential.
