Senior Systems Engineer

About the role

Serko is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to maintain and enhance the operational effectiveness of its global travel and expense platform. You will work across system engineering, administration, and ICT support to ensure reliable services for users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Improve the interface between system users, operating systems, and application software.
• Deliver key projects on time and within budget, incorporating user feedback.
• Maintain hardware, software, and network components, ensuring they remain operational.
• Manage licensing for products such as Slack and Google Suite, applying licenses efficiently for all users.
• Monitor core infrastructure health and take preventive actions to avoid downtime.
• Provide Level 3 ICT support, handling hardware, firmware, and software issues across regions.
• Automate onboarding and off‑boarding processes where possible.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Systems Administration or Systems Engineering.
• Background in ICT support with solid networking exposure.
• Proven track record of leading projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with a positive, can‑do attitude.

Required skills

• Networking concepts and security risk awareness.
