Senior Solicitor / Senior Associate – Corporate Advisory

About the role

Russell McVeagh is seeking a Senior Solicitor or Senior Associate to join its Corporate Advisory team in Auckland. The role offers the chance to work alongside expert partners on some of New Zealand’s most complex and high‑profile transactions. Key responsibilities

• Provide corporate and commercial legal advice to major corporate, government and infrastructure clients.
• Assist senior partners on complex, cross‑border transactions and projects of national significance.
• Collaborate with multiple practice partners to deliver integrated advisory solutions.
• Manage client relationships and support the delivery of high‑quality legal services.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate or commercial law.
• Strong academic record (transcript required).
• Demonstrated drive, ambition and excellent time‑management abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
