Senior Solicitor – Commercial

About the role

As a Senior Solicitor – Commercial you will provide trusted legal and commercial advice to help ACC manage risk while delivering strategic and operational outcomes. You will partner with procurement specialists, commissioning teams and senior leaders to develop practical solutions and support commercial negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice across the commissioning, funding, procurement and contract‑management lifecycle.
• Support health‑service commissioning and contracting initiatives.
• Lead significant procurement and commercial projects.
• Contribute to technology and digital‑transformation programmes.
• Manage supplier relationships and corporate service arrangements.
• Assist injury‑prevention and service‑delivery initiatives.

Required profile

• Experienced lawyer with strong legal judgement and commercial pragmatism.
• Background in private practice, in‑house legal teams, Crown entities, government agencies, health organisations, technology businesses or similar complex commercial environments.
• Ability to provide clear, practical advice and build collaborative relationships.

• Base salary range $117,787 – $153,000 per year.
