About the role

Jude is building an AI‑enabled legal workspace that streamlines document drafting, collaboration, and multi‑jurisdictional matter management. As a Senior Software Engineer you will shape the platform that helps law firms deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of AI agent pipelines using LangGraph and LangChain, orchestrating LLMs and data extraction at scale.
• Architect and ship performant serverless backend systems on AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge that process millions of documents.
• Drive UI quality across React 19, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS for web and Electron desktop applications.
• Lead the design of document ingestion and semantic search pipelines using vector embeddings and graph databases.
• Make trade‑off decisions on fine‑grained authorization with SpiceDB and Auth0.
• Influence product direction by collaborating with designers, lawyers, and product managers.
• Mentor engineers and help shape engineering practices as the team grows.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform in an Nx monorepo.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineer who prioritises impact over code for its own sake.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams including designers, lawyers, and product owners.
• Experience delivering reliable, high‑scale systems in a fast‑moving environment.
