Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Pushpay is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join its high‑growth, Kiwi‑founded SaaS team. You will work closely with software engineers, QA, UX and product managers to design, build and operate reliable, high‑performance systems that power mobile apps and giving technology for churches, schools and nonprofits.

Key responsibilities

• Review, debug and improve code, systems and infrastructure.
• Perform validation and verification testing to ensure quality releases.
• Develop automation tools and write clean, efficient code for operational tasks.
• Maintain production systems using a blend of manual and automated techniques.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, respond to alerts, and investigate operational or security incidents.
• Ship robust features regularly and identify risks in your own and teammates’ work.
• Contribute to SRE operability, architecture and engineering culture.
• Assist in recruiting new engineers through technical screens and outreach.
