Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Cloud (AWS & Azure)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build and operate resilient cloud platforms that support critical banking services. The role focuses on AWS and Azure environments, infrastructure as code, and delivery automation within an Agile, DevSecOps setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure using Terraform and automation‑first practices.
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment standards and engineering workflows for safe, repeatable infrastructure and application delivery.
• Lead complex initiatives from concept through production, providing ownership and technical direction.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with security, risk, architecture, delivery and product teams.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement, operational excellence and reduction of technical debt.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering or related roles supporting production environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with both AWS and Azure in complex enterprise settings.
• Proven ability to work in Agile and DevSecOps environments and to engage with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Experience in incident management, problem resolution and root‑cause analysis.
