Senior ServiceNow Consultant – Technology Consulting

About the role

EY is building a leading ServiceNow practice in Oceania and is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Consultant to join its technology consulting team. Based in Auckland or Wellington, you will work on complex transformation programmes for top organisations across New Zealand and Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement ServiceNow solutions throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to hyper‑care.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business needs into scalable, user‑centric ServiceNow applications.
• Develop solutions using JavaScript/Glide scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, UI Builder and Service Portal.
• Contribute to solution architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations to architects and delivery leads.
• Support platform upgrades, conduct instance health reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow best‑practice guidelines.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and provide knowledge‑transfer and training.
• Coach junior consultants, graduates and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Stay up‑to‑date with ServiceNow innovations, AI capabilities and industry trends.

Required profile

• Strong client‑facing experience with a passion for delivering technology solutions.
• Hands‑on technical expertise combined with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with platform advancements.
