Senior Project Manager – Structures

About the role

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale infrastructure and civil construction projects in Auckland. You will be responsible for the full delivery lifecycle, from planning through handover, ensuring safety, quality and commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of medium to large projects ($50M+), coordinating multiple work fronts and complex staging.
• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring compliance with HSE, environmental and quality standards.
• Act as the primary client and stakeholder liaison, providing clear communication and proactive issue resolution.
• Own project financials, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting and contract administration.
• Develop and mentor a sizeable project team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability and high performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering medium to large civil infrastructure projects, preferably in reinforced concrete, bridges, shafts or treatment facilities.
• Strong track record in programme management, site operations and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs and protect margins.
• Leadership experience with a focus on safety (Zero Harm) and team development.
