Senior Project Manager - Road Stabilisation

About the role

Fletcher Building's Higgins business is looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong road stabilisation experience to join its Waikato team. You will lead the delivery of stabilising projects across the region and nationally, overseeing multiple crews and programmes of work, while driving quality outcomes, supporting your team and building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of stabilising projects from planning through to completion
• Manage multiple operations while ensuring consistent, high-quality results
• Oversee programme, cost, quality and risk across your portfolio
• Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to Project Managers and site teams
• Manage contracts, pricing and commercial performance, including leading negotiations where required
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Champion a strong health and safety culture focused on prevention

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering road stabilisation projects within civil construction
• Experience managing multiple stabilising crews or operations
• Strong commercial capability, including pricing projects valued at $10M+
• A proactive health and safety mindset, with the belief that every incident is preventable
• Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop teams
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
