Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure & Water Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of 3 Waters and infrastructure resilience projects in Hawke's Bay. You will work with a high‑performing local team while benefiting from the support of a larger national business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from feasibility studies through delivery and handover for treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs and associated networks.
• Manage stakeholder relationships in complex environments and ensure clear communication with clients.
• Issue change instructions, chair project meetings and produce regular progress reports.
• Provide strategic oversight while staying hands‑on with day‑to‑day project activities.

Required profile

• Approximately 8+ years post‑graduate experience in civil engineering, project delivery or construction management.
• Experience working as a consultant or client‑side Project Manager on infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead high‑impact projects in complex stakeholder settings.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making and communication skills.
