Senior Project Manager – Dairy/Food & Beverage

About the role

Babbage Consultants is seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to lead complex dairy, food‑processing and industrial projects across New Zealand. You will own the delivery of projects from concept through to commissioning, working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control project programmes, budgets and resources.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure clear communication across all parties.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks throughout design and construction phases.
• Oversee construction activities, commissioning and handover to operations.
• Contribute to business growth through proposal development and client engagement.

Required profile

• Degree in Process, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or related science discipline).
• Proven experience delivering industrial, manufacturing or processing projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering project delivery from design to construction.
• Excellent communication, relationship management and commercial awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
