Senior Project Manager – Buildings

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead building projects across various sectors in Christchurch, overseeing the full project lifecycle. The role involves guiding project teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership to project teams through clear direction, effective communication, and regular meetings.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues to minimise impact.
• Develop and maintain Project Management Plans aligned with client objectives.
• Plan and implement strategies to achieve project goals and future success.
• Manage delivery of projects to fully satisfy client needs and expectations.

Required profile

• Several years of relevant industry experience, preferably in construction or related sectors.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management or related field.
• Proven ability to manage projects within defined scopes, schedules and budgets.
• Experience handling concurrent projects and meeting deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and enjoyment of building relationships with teams and clients.
