Senior Product Manager – Open Banking

About the role

As a Product Manager, Open Banking, you will shape how ANZ delivers Open Banking services to customers through third‑party providers. You will collaborate with technology, design, risk and external partners to develop and enhance products while meeting regulatory requirements and strategic priorities. This role combines product thinking, customer advocacy and delivery in a fast‑evolving banking area.

Key responsibilities

• Put customers at the heart of decisions, ensuring they are protected when using Open Banking services and interacting with third‑party providers.
• Take ownership of a product with a difference, balancing customer outcomes with regulatory obligations.
• Navigate an evolving regulatory landscape, contributing to broader conversations and responding to changes.
• Bring people together to manage risk and drive improvement across the bank, partners and industry stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience across product, channel or relationship management with a focus on positive customer outcomes.
• Customer‑first mindset and ability to advocate for customer needs when shaping solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to build trusted relationships.
• Sound risk awareness and judgement, navigating risk, regulatory requirements and competing priorities.
• Strategic and curious thinking with strong problem‑solving, planning and prioritisation abilities.
• Growth mindset and adaptability in a fast‑evolving environment.
• Confidence using Excel to organise, analyse and interpret information for decision‑making.
