Senior Process Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to lead innovative solutions for dairy, food & beverage and manufacturing projects across New Zealand. You will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, decarbonisation‑focused projects within our Energy & Industrial practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead small‑to‑medium projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring they meet client expectations and business goals.
• Manage the full project lifecycle – cost estimation, budgeting, detailed design coordination, procurement, vendor management and hand‑over.
• Develop and support work‑winning activities, preparing proposals and building long‑term client relationships.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and team performance.
• Stay current with industry innovations and integrate best practices into project designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Process or Chemical Engineering; chartered status preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of post‑graduation experience in dairy, food, clean‑industry or general manufacturing sectors.
• Proven track record of winning work and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
