Senior Process Engineer – Energy & Manufacturing

About the role

Join our team as a Senior Process Engineer delivering innovative solutions across energy, resource and manufacturing projects, with a focus on the dairy, food and beverage sectors in New Zealand. You will support sustaining‑capital projects and help expand our decarbonisation portfolio while strengthening client partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead small to medium‑size projects, ensuring delivery meets client expectations and business objectives.
• Manage the full project lifecycle – cost estimation, budgeting, detailed design coordination, procurement, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Develop and maintain long‑lasting client relationships and support business development through work‑winning activities.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth.
• Lead cross‑functional teams as project manager, driving innovation and integrating latest best practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in dairy, food, clean‑industry or general manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Process or Chemical Engineering; chartered status preferred.
• Minimum 6 years post‑graduation experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record of winning work and delivering projects.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
