Senior Microsoft 365 Specialist

About the role

Datacom is looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 Specialist to join its Microsoft 365 Centre of Excellence in New Zealand. The role combines technical leadership, solution delivery and customer relationship management to drive adoption and continuous improvement of the Microsoft 365 stack.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical escalation point for the Microsoft 365 Centre of Excellence.
• Deliver first‑class Modern Workplace services across data, files, communication, collaboration, security and identity.
• Guide business and customers toward adoption and optimisation of Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Provide expertise on Microsoft identity management, Office 365 collaboration tools and related security solutions.

Required profile

• New Zealand citizenship and residence in New Zealand.
• Extensive hands‑on experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer within an ICT professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AD, AD Connect, ADFS and Microsoft Identity Manager.

• Azure AD authentication methods (Password Hash Sync, Pass‑thru Authentication, Seamless SSO, Azure MFA, SSPR)
