Senior Mechanical Engineer - Production Tooling

About the role

Halter is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to own and drive production tooling programmes that underpin innovative farming hardware. You will work on‑site in Auckland CBD, collaborating with multiple suppliers to deliver high‑quality tooling solutions that scale globally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi‑supplier tooling programmes from concept through to production, ensuring technical depth and alignment with project goals.
• Define and enforce quality standards that protect product integrity at scale.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous growth and technical excellence.
• Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing and supply‑chain teams to integrate tooling solutions into hardware that reshapes agriculture worldwide.
