Senior Manager, Customer Development – NZ & Pacific Islands

About the role

This senior individual‑contributor position leads the partnership between McDonald’s and the Coca‑Cola system across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. You will own the full P&L, drive beverage incidence, and ensure operational excellence for both brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the total business strategy for the McDonald’s‑Coca‑Cola partnership, aligning with global protocols.
• Manage the end‑to‑end P&L, product range, equipment, marketing, pricing, supply chain and quality for the beverage portfolio.
• Lead negotiations on national pricing and cost structures to maximise revenue and profit.
• Steer senior relationships with McDonald’s leadership and Coca‑Cola bottlers, ensuring alignment on joint business plans.
• Drive beverage incidence and volume targets, overseeing product innovation and consumer insight initiatives.
• Coordinate KO system resources (customer management, brand marketing, finance) to support short‑ and long‑term priorities.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience managing large‑scale commercial accounts and P&L responsibility.
• Strong understanding of beverage industry economics and partnership models.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills with senior executives.
• Ability to translate consumer insights into product and marketing strategies.
