Senior Manager – Corporate Tax

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its Corporate Tax team in Auckland or Tauranga. You will work with a portfolio of high‑profile corporate clients, including NZX‑listed companies and multinational investors, delivering tax advice and compliance services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of tax professionals.
• Provide corporate tax advisory and compliance services to clients.
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
• Coordinate with specialist teams on government incentives, indirect tax, international tax, transfer pricing, tax controversy, transactions, employment tax and global mobility.
• Collaborate with EY’s global tax network on multi‑project engagements.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑manager experience in corporate tax, preferably with financial‑services exposure.
• Strong understanding of New Zealand tax legislation and Inland Revenue processes.
• Ability to manage complex client portfolios and lead high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
