Senior Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to partner with senior management and the Finance Directorate. The role will provide reporting, budgeting and investment support, delivering strategic financial analysis to drive business improvements and inform decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the consolidated financial reporting process for executive leadership, the Board, Audit & Risk Committees and Ministerial levels, preparing accurate statements, models and forecasts.
• Own the annual budgeting cycle, aligning it with long‑term funding envelopes and ensuring robust commentary.
• Provide investment support to Deputy Chief Executives and key stakeholders, challenging assumptions, evaluating capital business cases and analysing financial models.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum five years of post‑graduate experience in complex environments.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders (CFO, CE, Board) and manage tight deadlines.
• Experience guiding management accountants and data analysts without direct line management.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with modern finance systems.
• Expert‑level Excel skills.
• Power BI experience (highly desirable).
• Strong financial modelling and consolidated reporting capabilities.
