About the role

This hands‑on Senior HR Advisor position supports leaders across a fast‑paced operational environment. The successful candidate will provide expert employee‑relations guidance, coach managers through complex people matters, and support best‑practice HR processes throughout the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support complex employee‑relations and performance matters.
• Coach leaders through investigations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
• Provide practical HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
• Partner with operational leaders to build capability and drive outcomes.
• Support consistent and compliant people practices across the business.

Required profile

• Proven HR generalist experience with a strong employee‑relations background.
• Sound knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation.
• Experience managing investigations and complex employee matters.
• Strong communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience within logistics, transport, manufacturing, or operational environments is advantageous.
