Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Auckland)

About the role

We are looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to join Homework, a fast‑growing property‑tech startup in Auckland. You will work directly with the founder to build and ship features for our “LinkedIn for homes” platform, helping homeowners and buyers connect off‑market.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack features using Next.js, Supabase and Vercel.
• Implement authentication, payments and other core product functionality.
• Collaborate closely with the founder, explain trade‑offs and own decisions within your scope.
• Ensure high code quality and catch AI‑generated errors before release.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience shipping products with robust auth and payment systems.
• AI‑native workflow, comfortable using tools like Claude, Cursor or Codex.
• Strong communication skills, able to discuss technical choices in plain English.
