Senior Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level software engineer who will focus on building and enhancing our frontend applications. You will join a fast‑moving product team that ships multiple releases daily, helping retailers combat organised retail crime through innovative technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration to ensure high quality releases.
• Contribute to the evolution of our cloud‑native architecture and help optimise performance on Azure.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on frontend engineering.
• Proven ability to ship code to production frequently and maintain a low defect rate.
• Comfortable working in a remote or distributed environment within New Zealand.
• Passion for solving real‑world problems and improving retail safety.
