Senior Field Scientist – Crop Protection (NZ)

About the role
Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Senior Field Scientist to lead field trial programs across New Zealand. You will design, execute, and deliver high‑quality data that supports the development and registration of innovative crop protection products.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end management of field trial programs, including protocol design, regulatory compliance, execution, and data analysis.
- Design and conduct internal small‑plot trials with technical accuracy and data integrity.
- Collaborate with Contract Research Organizations and oversee externally managed trials.
- Analyse trial data, produce clear insights, and contribute to regional and global data summaries and registration dossiers.
- Provide technical expertise for product positioning, market development, and launch readiness.
- Engage with cross‑functional teams, external research partners, and industry stakeholders.
Required profile
- Degree in agricultural, biological or plant science (BSc, MSc or PhD preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in crop protection, plant health, or related field research.
- Strong project‑management capability and a solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and a commitment to safety, stewardship, and compliance.
