Senior Engineer - Transport Design

About the role

WSP is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead transport design projects within its Transportation Design team. You will provide technical leadership, ensure cost‑effective outcomes, and contribute to high‑performing, client‑focused projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of strategic transport projects using OpenRail, OpenRoads, 12D, Civil3D and Infraworks.
• Produce designs, 3D models and detailed drawings for civil infrastructure projects.
• Develop and improve BIM, CAD standards, and drawing processes across the service line.
• Prepare estimates, schedules, technical reports, specifications and tender documentation.
• Manage construction supervision, verification activities and quality assurance.
• Support project planning, budgeting, profit tracking and client feedback loops.

Required profile

• Senior‑level civil engineering experience in transport design.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of professional and technical standards, QA processes and project management practices.
