Senior Director, Strategy

About the role

Slalom is seeking a Senior Director in its Strategy capability to lead market solutions in New Zealand. This foundational leadership position will build the local strategy practice and drive business‑led outcomes for clients, bridging business objectives with technology enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the local leadership team to engage C‑suite and Board stakeholders.
• Translate complex business challenges into clear digital and transformation roadmaps.
• Lead the narrative of transformation, guiding customers from current state to desired future state.
• Develop and grow the strategy practice, focusing on high‑demand areas such as AI, data, and ERP.
• Manage ambiguity and move programs from high‑level strategy to successful delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience at Director or Senior Director level influencing C‑suite and Board members.
• Track record of leading complex digital transformations.
• Deep competence in business and corporate strategy with a business‑first perspective.
• Background in professional services or consulting environments.
• Experience in customer experience (CX) or service design is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Industry insight in finance or supply chain is advantageous.
